I always recommend that for people who get beat on a bad beat, but still have chips left to continue playing that you should get up and take a short break from the poker table. You dont need long, but you should go for a quick walk and clear your mind from the bad beat hand. I know for me it can stay in my head for hours after it happens, and this cant happen. I found that when I got up from the poker table and took a walk that I could clear my mind better about the bad beat, and then I go back to the poker table. It will take patience to win your chips back after a bad beat, and you should continue playing how you were playing before.
When youre not getting the cards you just need to take your time and wait the cards out. Eventually they will begin coming, and this is when you should capitalize. A bad beat happens too everyone in poker, and its a part of the game that isnt going to ever change. You need to adapt your playing style so that when youre faced with a bad beat you have the skill set and patience to handle it.
