Everest Poker was established in 2005 which makes Everest a relatively new poker room. Everest originally decided to focus on the European market as they choose not to accept American based players. Everest Poker unlike many other online poker sites features multi-lingual software 16 languages are supported which include; English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and French.
Everest Poker Software (7.2/10)
Everest Poker has below average graphics although the software, functions very well. Finding a game is very easy, you can list rooms by players at the table, stakes played, percentage of players seeing the flop or number of hands played an hour. This comes as an advantage as you can pick out weaker tables by playing at rooms which have a higher percent of players seeing the flop, or when you fancy playing a fast paced game you can seek out the tables with the highest number of hands played an hour. Overall Everest Poker software does it’s job very well although it really is “no frills” software.
Everest Poker Traffic (7.8/10)
Everest Poker runs exclusively on its own software with its own exclusive player base, meaning they don’t share traffic among a network. Although this doesn’t mean Everest is a small site by any means. Everest is the 6th largest online poker site in terms of traffic, which makes finding a game easy. Nearly 5,000 cash game players can be found playing at any one time, and tournament traffic is also very high with nearly 7,000 players at peak times.
Everest Poker Games Offered (6/10)
Everest Poker is a room exclusively dedicated to Texas Holdem. This means no other games are currently offered, and I can’t see any being added in the near future. If you want to play another game be it, Draw, Omaha or Stud you should definitely look elsewhere. If you only play Texas Holdem, Everest Poker may be the site for you!
Everest Poker Tournaments (7.8/10)
Everest offers a nice variety of tournaments. The largest tournament they offer is the “Avalanche” this combines online tournaments with a single live final table tournament which boasts a price pool of $1,000,000 you can qualify for this tournament from only $3.30 in daily rebuy qualifiers. The winner of this live tournament will receive a guaranteed $200,000 pay check.
Everest poker also offers sit and go action around the clock as well as a large array of multi-table tournaments.
